Darla and I love this time of year. We love the excitement that fills our home on Christmas morning and we treasure the memories that we’ve made with our boys over the years.
Most of all, we treasure the real meaning of Christmas and we welcome the reminder that the fast pace of our 21st century lives needs to slow down every now and then, allowing us to reflect on the many blessings we enjoy every day.
One of those blessings is the privilege of living in a free country and knowing that servicemen and women are fighting to protect that freedom…even on Christmas Day. Please remember to pray for our troops and their families during this holiday season.
As you open a gift, steal a kiss under the mistletoe, or smile at the excitement on the face of a child, remember to count your blessings.
Darla and I wish you a very merry Christmas and a happy new year!
Sincerely, Bob Vander Plaats
